Restraint Reduction & PBS

Our Values

We are committed to support without harm.
That means we avoid restraint, seclusion, or restriction wherever humanly possible.
We believe that challenging behaviour is often communication — and our job is to listen.

What We Do

  • Follow the Restraint Reduction Network Pledge
  • Train all staff in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Use Red-Amber-Green support plans to identify escalation and prevent crisis
  • Ensure all responses are person-centred and proportionate
  • Involve families and advocates in designing least-restrictive support

Our Goal

To create environments where people feel safe, respected, and in control of their lives — and where restrictive interventions are a last resort, not a first response.
