Attainment Care
A New Kind of Supported Living
Compassionate, person-led care in safe, supportive homes.
We’re building a service where people are truly seen, heard, and valued.

Our Mission
Attainment Care delivers Supported Living services shaped by SCIE's values of choice, dignity, inclusion, and independence.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful and empowered life — regardless of disability or diagnosis.
Our mission is to deliver high-quality supported living
services that promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing. We focus on the
individual behind the label, ensuring that every person we support is truly
heard, respected, and central to their own care.
As a small, family-led organisation, we are not constrained by bureaucracy. This allows us to build personalised, flexible support around each individual’s strengths, goals, and aspirations. We bring heart, clarity, and professionalism to everything we do.
Why Commissioners Trust Us
Commissioners need assurance. We provide it.
Even as a new provider, we have built a strong foundation to meet and exceed regulatory expectations:
CQC-Ready: Registration preparation underway, with all required systems in place

We are in the advanced stages of preparing our application to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- A full suite of policies covering safeguarding, MCA, staffing, complaints, and quality assurance is already in place.
- Our systems are aligned with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities Regulations 2014) and meet all Fundamental Standards.
We are committed to delivering a fully compliant, well-led service from day one.
Framework-Aligned: Designed in line with local authority commissioning frameworks

Our service has been built with local commissioning needs in mind.
We are preparing for registration on Flexible Purchasing Systems (FPS) and Approved Provider Lists (APL) across Merseyside and beyond.
Our policies, staffing, and housing models align with framework specifications for:
- Autism and learning disability support
- Forensic and complex needs
- PBS-based service delivery
- Community engagement and co-production
We actively welcome early engagement from commissioning teams.
Governance & Registration
Governance-First: Safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, equality and incident protocols in place

Strong governance is at the heart of our approach.
Our safeguarding and quality systems include:
- Policies in line with Care Act 2014
- MCA and DoLS decision frameworks
- Equality and anti-discrimination policy
- Whistleblowing and incident response procedures
- Internal audits and external oversight pathways
- Our compliance team ensures continuous improvement and transparency across all operations.
PBS and Trauma-Informed: Service model rooted in the Restraint Reduction Network Pledge

We are committed to delivering care that is positive, person-centred, and psychologically safe.
Our staff are trained in:
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Trauma-informed care
- Understanding behaviour as communication
We follow the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) Pledge, promoting safety and reducing restrictive practices.
Every support plan is co-produced to build resilience and maximise autonomy.
Housing Partnerships: Active agreements with ethical landlords and investors

We are securing quality supported housing through collaboration with ethical landlords and social investors.
Our properties include:
Environments tailored to autism, sensory needs, or forensic risk
Located across the Liverpool City Region, homes are assessed for safety, accessibility, and long-term suitability in partnership with commissioners.
Leadership Experience: Led by professionals with over 20 years in supported living and complex needs

Our leadership team brings deep, hands-on experience in supported living, commissioning, and complex care service design.
We’ve led and transformed services across the sector — and now we’re doing it with a sharper focus.
Our backgrounds include:
- CQC-registered service management
- Regional management
- Business development management
- Strategic commissioning for learning disability and autism
- PBS implementation and workforce development
We understand the challenges and the standards — and we’re building a service that reflects both.
Personalised Support Planning
We believe every person is unique — which is why we take the time to co-produce support plans that reflect individual needs, goals, and preferences. From daily living skills to community engagement, we work collaboratively with each person and their circle of support to build confidence, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
Promoting Healthy, Balanced Living
We support people to live healthy, happy, and active lives. This includes help with nutritious meal planning, cooking skills, physical activity, and general wellbeing routines. Where appropriate, we work alongside healthcare professionals to support positive health outcomes.
Independent Living Skills
We equip individuals with the practical skills they need to live as independently as possible. Whether it’s budgeting, cooking, cleaning, or using public transport, we offer hands-on, person-centred support tailored to each person’s current abilities and future goals.
Community Inclusion & Social Connection
At Attainment Care, we help people build meaningful connections in their local community. From social clubs and volunteering to cultural activities and local events, we support individuals to explore their interests and feel part of the world around them.
Communication & Emotional Wellbeing
We understand that clear communication and emotional support are key to a fulfilling life. That’s why we promote each person’s preferred communication style, support emotional regulation, and offer a consistent, safe environment for growth.
“Good supported living promotes independence and builds on people’s strengths, preferences, and ambitions.” — SCIE
What Makes Us Different

We believe in doing everything better — with relentless focus on the quality of each placement.
Our size allows us to:
Build real, ongoing relationships with families and professionals
Provide direct access to decision-makers
Adapt and co-produce care models with the people we support.
Stay local, accountable, and responsive
Our Support Offer
We support young adults with:
- Autism and neurodivergent profiles
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health support needs
- Behaviours of concern
All support is tailored and trauma-informed, delivered in safe, welcoming homes with consistent, well-trained staff.
We work closely with commissioners, housing providers, advocates, and clinical teams to design placements that genuinely meet needs — and sustain positive outcomes.
